Not all sugary delights are bad. Some are rich in protein, fibre, and vitamins. Sattu ladoo is one of them, and a must-try for people with a sweet tooth. The nutty flavour and crunch from dry fruits will make you a fan of this recipe.
3 tbsp ghee 1 cup sattu flour ¼ tsp cardamom powder ½ cup jaggery
Heat ghee in a kadhai and roast sattu in it for two minutes to release its aroma. Keep it aside.
Add cardamom and jaggery to it and combine the ingredients well.
Add a couple of tablespoons of ghee and mix the ingredients again.
You can add chopped or crushed almonds and pistachios if you like.
Start shaping the mixture into lemon-sized ladoos.
Store ladoos in an airtight container and enjoy.
