Salad is a complete meal. Don’t believe anyone if they say otherwise. Usually, most people associate salad with a handful of greens, but it is a balanced mix of greens, protein, seasonal ingredients, and fresh dressing. This chicken salad recipe is all you need to dig in this weekend.
½ cup mayonnaise ½ cup blanched almonds ¼ tsp black pepper 1 cup chopped veggies 2 cups steamed chicken 2 cups leafy greens
Steam the chicken and shred it using forks.
Take a large bowl, and mix chopped vegetables. You can also saute them.
Add thoroughly washed and dry leafy greens.
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and black pepper.
Toss chicken, green, and vegetables with mayonnaise.
