Incorporating the high-protein chickpeas in a snack is one of the best ways to move towards a healthier lifestyle. For a healthy and delicious snack, you can make this chana chaat at home.
1 cup soaked chickpeas 1 teaspoon cumin 1 teaspoon oil 1 ginger 1 green chilli 1 onion 1 tomato 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves 1/4 cup sev 1 tablespoon lemon juice Chaat masala to taste Salt to taste
Take the soaked chickpeas, add water, and pressure cook for about 20 minutes.
Heat some oil and add sauteed cumin seeds, grated ginger, and chopped green chilli.
Add chopped onion, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder and mix well.
Mix in the cooked chickpeas and add salt to taste.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice, chaat masala, and sev and serve.
