Spicy, tangy, and full of protein, this chana chaat recipe turns humble chickpeas into a vibrant flavour explosion. Every bite is a mix of freshness, zing, and street-style magic you’ll crave endlessly.
1 cup boiled chickpeas 1 finely chopped onion 1 finely chopped tomato 1 chopped green chilli ½ tsp chaat masala ¼ tsp salt 1 tsp lemon juice 1 tbsp chopped coriander
Rinse boiled chickpeas under running water and drain them well to keep them fresh and plump.
In a mixing bowl, combine chickpeas, onions, tomatoes, and green chilli for a colourful, crunchy base.
Sprinkle chaat masala and salt over the mixture and toss gently to coat everything evenly.
Drizzle lemon juice for a tangy lift and mix once more to combine flavours perfectly.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve immediately, allowing each bite to deliver a zesty, street-food-style punch.
