Protein Packed Tofu Bhurji: 10-Minute Recipe For A Vegan-Friendly Meal

Tofu bhurji is an impeccable option to get the protein requirements fixed, especially for vegans. Requiring just basic kitchen ingredients, here’s how you can whip up tofu bhurji in less than ten minutes.

Ingredients

200 grams tofu, crumbled 1 onion 1 green chilli 1 tomato 1-inch ginger 3-4 cloves garlic 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon garam masala Salt to taste 2 tbsp coriander leaves Oil for cooking

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Step 2

Add the chopped onion, green chilli, ginger, and garlic. Sauté onions till golden brown.

Step 3

Add chopped tomatoes,  turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and garam masala.

Step 4

Mix in crumbled tofu and cook for a few minutes. Season with salt.

Step 5

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with a roti.
