Sattu chilla is a high-protein breakfast or snack option that can be quickly whipped up without spending a lot of time in the kitchen. With the usual kitchen spices, here’s how you can make sattu chilla.
1 cup sattu flour 1 cup water 2 teaspoons oil ½ teaspoon ajwain ½ teaspoon red chilli powder ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder ⅓ cup chopped onions ⅓ cup chopped tomatoes 1 green chilli 1 teaspoon grated ginger ½ cup chopped coriander leaves Salt to taste
Take a bowl and mix sattu flour, ajwain, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Add the chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilli, ginger, coriander leaves, and water.
Once the batter is consistent, heat a pan, pour a spoonful, and cook both sides.
Cook a few chillas and serve with dahi and chutney.
