Rushed mornings on weekdays call for easy-to-make meals. A paneer sandwich is one such option that is quick to assemble, mess-free, and satisfying in every bite. With basic spices and everyday fresh veggies, it can turn simple bread and paneer into a wholesome meal in minutes.
Bread slices (as per requirement) 200 g paneer (crumbled) 2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp green chutney ¼ cup finely chopped onion ¼ cup finely chopped capsicum 1 small green chilli (finely chopped) ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp chaat masala ¼ tsp black pepper ½ tsp salt 1 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
In a bowl, add some crumbled paneer with chopped onion, capsicum, green chilliies and basic spices. Mix everything nicely to make a flavourful filling.
Add in chopped coriander leaves for that extra freshness. Adjust salt and spices to taste if required.
On one side of each bread slice, apply butter, and on the other side of each slice, apply green chutney.
Spread the prepared paneer mixture nicely on the chutney-covered pieces. Cover it up with the buttered slice of bread.
Heat a pan or sandwich maker. Toast the sandwiches for about 2–3 minutes per side until they turn lightly crisp and golden brown from both sides.
Cut the pieces diagonally and serve hot or pack for lunchbox with ketchup or chutney on the side.
