Proffee, or protein coffee, is a modern functional drink that combines caffeine with protein to support both energy and recovery. It has gained popularity among fitness-focused routines as a quick breakfast or pre-workout option. The balance between hot coffee and protein mixing is important to avoid clumps, making technique just as essential as ingredients.
1 cup freshly brewed coffee (slightly cooled) 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or unflavoured) ½ cup milk or plant-based milk Ice optional Sweetener optional
Brew coffee and allow it to cool slightly so it is hot but not boiling.
In a shaker or blender, mix protein powder with milk until completely smooth.
Add coffee gradually while blending or shaking to maintain a lump-free texture.
Taste and adjust sweetness, then add ice if preferred and serve immediately.
