Poha With Peanuts: A Protein-Rich Snack

Poha with peanuts is a protein-rich recipe for breakfast that North Indians, Maharashtrians, and people of Madhya Pradesh enjoy. It is fulfilling, tasty, and goes well with a cup of hot tea or chilled chaas.

Ingredients

1 potato 1 cup poha ½ cup roasted peanuts Salt to taste 1 slit green chilli 1 tsp mustard seeds ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tbsp oil 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 sliced onion 1 tbsp coriander leaves

Step 1

Soak poha, chop vegetables, and roast peanuts in a pan.

Step 2

Heat a kadhai and add mustard seeds to it.

Step 3

Saute vegetables until they are cooked.

Step 4

Sprinkle spices and saute for a minute before folding in poha.

Step 5

Toss ingredients together and sprinkle salt.

Step 6

Add peanuts and coriander leaves as garnish and enjoy.
