Poached eggs are one of the trickiest yet simplest recipes for breakfast. You can enjoy it as is or layer it over a salad, wrap, or toast. A perfect one has a tender capsule of egg white and a runny yolk. Here is how you can make it at home.
2 fresh eggs 3 cups of water Salt to taste Pepper to taste 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
Fill a shallow pot with water and bring it to a simmer.
Add vinegar or lemon juice to it and stir the solution.
Break the eggs into two separate bowls.
Slowly drop the eggs in the vinegar-water solution.
After poaching for 3-4 minutes, take out the eggs.
Gently tap the ladle to remove excess water and sprinkle salt and pepper on the top.
