Pineapple sheera is a semolina-based sweet dish flavoured with fresh pineapple, sugar, and ghee. It has a fruity aroma and is enjoyed as a festive offering or dessert.
1 cup semolina (sooji) ½ cup ghee 1 cup sugar 2 cups water ½ cup pineapple (finely chopped) 1 tbsp cashews 1 tsp cardamom powder
Roast semolina in ghee until golden and fragrant.
Boil water with sugar and chopped pineapple until the fruit softens.
Gradually add roasted semolina into the pineapple mixture, stirring continuously.
Cook until thick, add cardamom powder and cashews, and serve warm.
