Pesto pasta is a fragrant dish where basil, olive oil, nuts and cheese blend into a smooth, bright sauce that coats warm pasta beautifully. The aroma stays fresh because the pesto is added after cooking, giving the dish a clean, herb-forward flavour. It is quick enough for weekday cooking yet feels special enough for entertaining. Serve immediately to preserve the vibrant colour.
2 cups cooked pasta 1 cup fresh basil 2 tbsp nuts 2 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp grated cheese Salt and pepper
Blend basil, nuts, cheese and olive oil into a smooth pesto. Season with salt and pepper.
Boil your pasta of choice in water with a drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of salt until al dente.
Toss warm pasta through the pesto until coated.
Serve with freshly grated cheese.
