When you fast, you need fulfilling snacks that satisfy your hunger and add essential nutrients to your body. One of those sweet delights is a peanut chikki bar. Keep it in your pantry, and you will never be hangry.
1.5 cups jaggery 2 cups peanuts 2 tbsp water
Heat a thick bottom pan and dry roast peanuts in it. Remove the skin and keep them aside.
After removing peanuts, add 1.5 cups of jaggery and a few tablespoons of water.
Let the jaggery melt. Keep stirring so that the mixture is smooth. Bring it to a boil on a low flame.
Once you are happy with the consistency, switch off the flame. Add peanuts to the mix.
After combining the ingredients well, spread the mixture on a flat surface.
Once jaggery cools off, cut the spread into rectangles or squares and store it in an airtight jar.
