Ring in the New Year with this kulhad pizza snack, having gooey cheese, bold Indian flavours, and crispy bites that are prepared by baking directly in the clay cups. It’s festive, fuss-free, and will surely steal the party spotlight.
4 small kulhads (clay cups) 4 tbsp pizza sauce 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese ½ cup chopped onions ½ cup chopped capsicum ¼ cup sweet corn (boiled) ¼ tsp red chilli flakes ¼ tsp oregano or mixed herbs 2 tbsp olive butter or softened butter 4 bread slices or pizza base pieces (crumbled)
Lightly grease the kulhads with some butter. Place the crumbled bread or pizza base at the bottom to make a soft but lightly crisp pizza-style base.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the base. Sprinkle some chopped onions, capsicum, and sweet corn, pressing lightly so the vegetables settle well inside the kulhad.
Season with some chilli flakes, oregano, and a pinch of salt. This layer will add bold, street-style flavour to the pizza.
Generously top it with grated mozzarella cheese, covering the vegetables completely to achieve that irresistible, gooey, pull-apart kulhad pizza texture.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the kulhad pizza for about 10–12 minutes or air-fry until the cheese melts, bubbles, and turns lightly golden.
Serve hot straight from the oven. Garnish with seasonings and enjoy a cheesy, crunchy, spoonable pizza snack with drinks.
