Paneer Roll Recipe That’s Great for Tiffins

Paneer rolls are easy to pack and packed with protein and fibre, making them a good addition to your diet. You can make them quickly in the morning, and they stay fresh for hours. Check out how to prepare this tiffin-friendly recipe step by step.

Ingredients

1 cup grated paneer 2 tablespoons chopped capsicum 1 onion, green chilli 1 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder Salt to taste 1 tablespoon oil 3 to 4 roti or paratha Tomato ketchup or green chutney (for spreading)

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle. Then add onions and sauté until soft.

Step 2

Add capsicum and green chilli. Cook for 2–3 minutes till they soften slightly but still have a bite.

Step 3

Add turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute.

Step 4

Add the grated paneer and stir everything together. Cook for 2 minutes and turn off the heat. Let it cool slightly.

Step 5

Take a roti or paratha and spread some chutney or ketchup. Place a spoonful of the paneer filling in the center

Roll it tightly and pack it in foil or butter paper. It’s ready to go into a lunchbox.
