Pakoras are just the perfect snacks to pair with a hot cup of chai, especially on rainy evenings. If you are craving something to munch on this monsoon, why don’t you make crispy paneer pakoras?
250 gms paneer, cubed 1 cup besan 1/4 cup rice flour 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) 1/2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain) 1/4 tsp garam masala powder Salt to taste Coriander leaves Water for batter consistency Oil for frying
Cut paneer into bite-sized cubes.
Make a consistent batter with besan, rice flour, spices, chopped coriander leaves, and salt.
Add water to adjust the consistency of the batter.
Heat some oil. Coat each paneer cube in the batter and deep fry.
Drain excess oil and serve with a chutney and a cup of chai.
