Paneer Masala Dosa: Protein Packed South Indian Recipe

Dosa is a highly versatile South Indian favourite. You can add any of your preferred fillings before pairing the dosa with sambar. To make the meal high in protein, make this paneer masala dosa in 5 steps.

Ingredients

For The Dosa Batter: 2 cups rice ½ cup urad dal ¼ teaspoon fenugreek seeds ½ teaspoon salt Water as required For The Paneer Masala: 1 cup paneer 1 onion 1 tomato 1 green chilli ½ teaspoon mustard seeds ½ teaspoon cumin seeds ½ teaspoon turmeric ½ teaspoon red chilli powder ½ teaspoon gram masala 1 tablespoon oil Fresh coriander for garnish

Step 1

Soak rice, urad dal, and fenugreek seeds. Grind into a smooth batter and ferment overnight.

Step 2

Heat some oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chopped onions, tomatoes, and chillies.

Step 3

Add in crumbled paneer and all the spices.

Step 4

Pour a spoonful of batter into a pan, spread it into a circle, and cook on both sides.

Step 5

Fold the paneer mixture into the dosa and serve with sambar and chutney.
