Paneer lababdar recipe turns simple cubes of paneer into a rich tomato-cashew gravy layered with butter, kasuri methi, and gentle spice, giving restaurant-style depth that pairs beautifully with naan, jeera rice, or festive dinner spreads.
250 g paneer cubes 2 tbsp butter 1 tbsp oil 3 tomato puree 10 soaked cashews 1 tsp ginger garlic paste ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp garam masala 1 tsp kasuri methi 2 tbsp cream Salt to taste
Heat butter and oil in a pan, and saute the ginger-garlic paste until aromatic.
Add tomato puree and cook until the mixture thickens and releases oil.
Blend soaked cashews with a little water, then add to the gravy.
Add paneer cubes, chilli powder, garam masala, salt, and kasuri methi.
Finish with cream, simmer briefly, and serve hot.
