Pakoras are the classic crispy munchies to enjoy on a relaxing evening with a cup of tea. To make the most of your tea-time, try this Punjabi recipe and make palak pakore in no time.
1 bunch fresh spinach 1 cup besan 1/4 cup water 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala Salt to taste Oil for frying
Rinse and finely chop a bunch of spinach.
Mix besan, red chilli, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt.
Add water and mix till you get a smooth batter. Coat chopped spinach with the batter.
Heat some oil and deep-fry small portions of the spinach mixture.
Once golden brown, take the palak pakore out, drain excess oil, and serve.
