Palak dal is an iron and protein-rich recipe that goes well with roti and rice. This is a must-try dish, especially if you have kids and elders at home. Take note of this recipe.
½ cup toor dal 1 small tomato 1.25 cups water 1 dried red chilli 2 cups palak 2 green chillies 1 tsp ginger ½ tsp salt, kasuri methi 1 tbsp lemon juice ¼ tsp turmeric ¾ tsp cumin seeds
Wash the lentil and pressure cook it for two whistles with turmeric, tomato, and salt.
In a pan, heat ghee and add cumin seeds and green chillies.
Pour the cooked lentils and remaining spices into the pan.
Add spinach and cook for 3-4 minutes until they have wilted.
Add kasuri methi and lemon juice to the lentil blend.

Serve dal palak hot with steamed rice.
