Palak is rich in vitamins, magnesium, potassium, and most importantly, iron. It is beneficial for women who struggle to manage anaemia or people trying to get their haemoglobin count up. Tap to find this easy recipe.
1 cup palak 2 cups moong dal Salt to taste 1-inch ginger 2 tbsp butter 1 tsp cumin seeds 2 green chillies ½ tsp red chilli powder ¼ tsp pepper 80 grams of paneer 1 tbsp coriander leaves
Blanch spinach leaves and blend them with ice to turn them into a smooth paste.
In the same mixer, add soaked moong dal, ginger, salt, chillies, and cumin seeds.
Keep the batter aside. Grate paneer on a plate and mix it with salt, chilli powder, pepper, and coriander leaves.
Spread a ladle full of green chilla batter on a hot griddle. Shape it into a circle or an oval.
Add butter on the edges so you can flip it easily. On the inner side, add the paneer mixture.
Serve the chilla hot with ketchup.
