Masala chana dal vada is an excellent snack to pair with tea and enjoy this weather. It is enriching, crispy, and satisfies hunger. Not to mention its easy recipe that you can follow through without hassle.
1 cup chana dal 1-inch cinnamon Salt to taste ¾ tsp saunf, cumin 7-8 curry leaves Oil for deep frying 1.25 tsp ginger-garlic paste 7-8 mint leaves 1 chopped onion 2 dried red chillies 1 green chilli
Soak chana dal for an hour. Meanwhile, blitz chillies, cumin, fennel, and cinnamon.
Blend chana dal with salt and mix it with the powdered spices, onion, green chillies, and ginger-garlic paste.
The mixture should be binding by now. Shape it into patties.
You can bake it in the oven, air fryer or deep-fry until they are crispy and golden brown.
Serve them with green chutney, ketchup, and masala chai.
