Overnight Oats Recipe For A No-Cook Healthy Breakfast

Overnight oats are a simple, nutritious breakfast option made by soaking oats in milk or yoghurt overnight. They’re easy to prepare and customisable with fruits, nuts, and seeds for flavour and texture.

Ingredients

½ cup rolled oats ½ cup milk or plant-based milk ¼ cup plain yoghurt (optional) 1 tsp chia seeds 1 tsp honey or maple syrup ¼ cup chopped fruits (banana, apple, or berries) 1 tbsp chopped nuts or seeds A pinch of cinnamon

Step 1

In a jar or bowl, combine rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and sweetener.

Step 2

Pour in milk and yoghurt (if using), then mix everything well.

Step 3

Cover the jar and refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.

Step 4

In the morning, give the oats a stir and top with chopped fruits, nuts, or seeds. Serve cold or at room temperature.
