Sweet, fruity, and slightly tangy, this homemade black currant drink recipe creates a refreshing summer cooler that instantly reminds many people of childhood parties, chilled family dinners, school canteens, and relaxing evenings during extremely hot weather at home.
1/2 cup black currant squash 3 cups chilled water 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp sugar Ice cubes as needed Mint leaves for garnish
Add black currant squash, sugar, and lemon juice to a large jug.
Pour chilled water into the mixture and stir well until combined.
Taste the drink and adjust the sweetness according to preference.
Fill serving glasses with ice cubes and pour the drink over them.
Garnish the black currant drink with mint leaves and serve immediately.
