Oats Dosa Recipe: Turn Your South Indian Meal Gluten Free

Who doesn’t love having a thin and crisp dosa? But if you’re shying away from the South Indian classic because of gluten, make oats dosa and enjoy the healthier version. Make it at home in just 5 steps.

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats ½ cup gluten-free rice flour ¼ cup urad dal ½ tsp fenugreek seeds 1-2 green chillies 1 inch ginger Few curry leaves, chopped Salt to taste Water as required Oil for cooking

Step 1

Mix oats, rice flour, urad dal flour, and fenugreek seeds. Add water to form a smooth batter.

Step 2

Let the batter rest for 4-6 hours or overnight.

Step 3

Mix in chillies, ginger, curry leaves and salt. Add a little water to adjust the consistency.

Step 4

Heat a pan and pour a ladleful of batter. Spread it thinly and cook on both sides.

Step 5

Once the oats dosa is crispy, serve it with sambar and coconut chutney.
