Oats Chilla: Try This Gluten-Free Snack Or Breakfast Recipe

Chilla is the Indian snack that is typically made with besan, water, and spices, allowing you to add any of your favourite veggies. To make it healthier, you can make oats chilla with this easy recipe.

Ingredients

1 cup oats 1/4 cup besan 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup chopped green chillies 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder Salt to taste Oil for greasing

Step 1

Grind oats and mix with besan, chopped onion, chillies, water, and all the spices.

Step 2

Once you get a consistent batter, heat a pan and grease it with oil.

Step 3

Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan, spreading it into a circle.

Step 4

Cook till the chilla is golden brown on each side. Serve with a chutney.
