No Onion, Garlic Matar Kebabs For Feasting While Fasting

Navratri fasting does not mean you have to give up on taste. You can enjoy your favourite food without onion or garlic. Here is a recipe that will take your feasting during fasting up a notch.

Ingredients

1.5 cups matar Salt to taste 2 tbsp oil 100g paneer 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp coriander powder ½ tsp chilli powder ¼ tsp garam masala ⅛ tsp pepper 7-8 chopped mint leaves 2 tbsp coriander leaves 2 tbsp cornflour 1-inch ginger 2 chopped green chillies 2 tbsp roasted besan

Step 1

Boil peas in a pressure cooker and keep them aside.

Step 2

Heat oil and saute ginger, cumin powder, green chillies, and besan.

Step 3

Add boiled peas and sprinkle powdered spices.

Step 4

Add cornflour to make the mixture bind. Meanwhile, mix paneer with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Make patties with peas and stuff them into small paneer balls.

Step 6

Heat the oil and roast the kebabs on a non-stick griddle. Enjoy!
