Craving that Wai Wai taste without the cup? These desi Wai Wai-style noodles bring the same spicy, tangy, buttery hit with fresh ingredients and a quick toss, perfect when you want instant vibes, minus the packet.
1 pack plain instant noodles (without tastemaker) 1½ cups water 1 tbsp butter 1 tsp oil 1 tbsp chopped garlic 2 tbsp chopped onion 2 tbsp chopped tomato 2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp chaat masala ½ tsp soy sauce ½ tsp vinegar ½ tsp black pepper Salt to taste 2 tbsp grated cheese (optional) 1 tbsp chopped coriander
Boil water in a pan, add noodles, and cook till just soft; drain and keep aside (don’t overcook).
Heat butter and oil in a pan, sauté garlic till fragrant, then add onion and cook till slightly soft.
Add tomato and capsicum; cook for 1-2 minutes so they stay slightly crunchy.
Add chilli powder, chaat masala, soy sauce, vinegar, pepper, and salt; mix well to create a quick masala base.
Toss in cooked noodles, mix till evenly coated, cook for 1 minute, then top with cheese and coriander before serving hot.
