Neer dosa is a traditional South Indian dish made from rice and water. Soft, light, and lacy, it pairs beautifully with chutney or curry, offering a gluten-free, comforting breakfast or snack option.
1 cup raw rice (soaked 4 hours) 1½ to 2 cups water (for blending) Salt to taste Oil for greasing the pan
Drain the soaked rice and grind it with water to make a smooth, thin batter.
Add salt and mix well; the consistency should be watery like buttermilk.
Heat a non-stick tawa and grease lightly with oil.
Pour a ladle of batter and swirl the pan quickly to spread evenly.
Cover and cook for 1 minute, no need to flip.
Serve soft neer dosas with coconut chutney or vegetable curry.
