Panchamrit is an essential five-element sacred nectar offered during Hindu rituals and Navratri pujas to invoke divine blessings. Blending five pure ingredients—milk, curd, honey, sugar, and ghee—it symbolises purity, devotion, and sweetness. Infused with fresh holy basil (tulsi) leaves and fox nuts, this auspicious offering is distributed as a sacred prasad to devotees.

Ingredients

2 cups chilled full-fat milk 1 cup fresh plain curd (yogurt) 2 tablespoons raw honey 2 tablespoons powdered sugar or organic jaggery 1 tablespoon melted pure ghee 5-6 fresh tulsi (holy basil) leaves 1 tablespoon chopped dry fruits (makhana or almonds)

Step 1

Whisk the chilled milk and fresh curd together in a clean brass or silver vessel until smooth and well combined.

Step 2

Stir in the raw honey, powdered sugar, and melted pure ghee, mixing continuously until completely dissolved.

Step 3

Add the chopped dry fruits and float the fresh tulsi leaves right on top of the liquid.

Step 4

Serve fresh as a sacred offering during daily puja rituals or distribute immediately following prayers.
