Navratri, the 9-day festival dedicated to Goddess Durga, is observed with fasting and devotion. To add a crispy snack to your vrat vali thali, you can make sabudana tikki with this step-by-step recipe.
1 cup sabudana 2 boiled potatoes 1/2 cup roasted peanuts 2-3 green chillies 1 inch of ginger 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves 1 teaspoon cumin seeds Rock salt to taste Oil for frying
Rinse and soak sabudana till soft. Drain excess water.
Mix sabudana with potatoes, peanuts, green chillies, ginger, lemon juice, cumin seeds, coriander, and rock salt.
Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into patties.
Heat some oil and shallow fry or deep fry till the tikkis are crispy.
Serve with your favourite chutney and add to your vrat thali.
