Winter is here, and so is the season of bonfire parties. If you are hosting one, mushroom tikka is the perfect snack for the appetiser menu. It goes with drinks and tastes delicious with sauces. Here is the recipe.
½ tsp carom seeds 250 grams button mushrooms A pinch of turmeric ½ ginger-garlic paste ¼ tsp garam masala ½ tsp chilli powder Salt to taste 4 tbsp gram flour 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp chaat masala 1 diced onion 2 tbsp coriander leaves
Rinse mushrooms, pat them dry, and trim the base.
Toss them in a mixture of oil and spices.
Let them marinate for 20 minutes. Add gram flour to the bowl.
Toss the mushrooms again so that flour thinly coats them.
Bake mushrooms in an oven preheated at 200°C.
Drizzle lemon juice and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves before digging into mushroom tikka.
