To make a quick snack, try the Mumbai-style bhel puri with chopped veggies, murmura, and chutneys.
The Maharashtrian poha can be given a twist by using murmura instead of flattened rice.
Murmura upma can be whipped up with puffed rice mixed with green chillies, onions, mustard seeds, etc.
To make the Bengali street snack, jhalmuri just mix chopped veggies, murmura, and spices.
Churmura is the Karnataka version of Jhalmuri. The difference is the slight sweetness infused with grated coconut.
