Mung dal cookies are a wholesome baked treat made with ground mung dal flour, offering a nutty flavour and crisp bite. They work well as a tea-time snack or a quick energy booster.
1 cup mung dal (roasted and ground into fine flour) ½ cup whole wheat flour ½ cup jaggery powder ¼ cup ghee (melted) ½ tsp cardamom powder 1 tsp baking powder Pinch of salt 2–3 tbsp milk (as needed)
In a mixing bowl, combine mung dal flour, wheat flour, jaggery powder, cardamom, baking powder, and salt.
Add melted ghee and mix until crumbly. Gradually add milk to form a soft dough.
Shape into small cookies and place on a lined baking tray.
