Pav bhaji is a beloved street of Mumbai that has won hearts all across India and even globally. The spicy bhaji paired with grilled and buttery pavs is an iconic dish to make at your home for snacking.
1 cup water 3 tablespoons oil 1 tablespoon butter 1 onion 1 green chilli 1 inch ginger 1 clove garlic 1 tomato 2 potatoes 1/2 cup peas 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1.5 tablespoons pav bhaji masala 1 teaspoon coriander powder Salt to taste Coriander leaves for garnishing 1 packet pav buns
Saute chopped onion and green chilli. Mix in ginger, garlic, and tomatoes. Cook till fragrant.
Mix in turmeric powder, red chilli powder, pav bhaji masala, and coriander powder.
Add mashed potatoes, peas, and salt. Pour a cup of water and let the mixture simmer.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, onions, and butter.
Toast the pav till they are golden brown. Serve with hot bhaji.
