This recipe is proof that fusion can be fabulous. By swapping out traditional ladyfingers for soft, spongy Rasgullas, you create a Tiramisu that is remarkably moist and has a unique "burst" of espresso in every bite. The Rasgullas act as the perfect sponges, contrasting beautifully with the velvety mascarpone cream for a viral-worthy dessert that is truly the best of both worlds.

Ingredients

10-12 mini Rasgullas (syrup squeezed out) 1 cup strong brewed espresso or cold brew 1 cup mascarpone or cream cheese 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream 2 tablespoons powdered sugar Cocoa powder for dusting

Step 1

Squeeze the sugar syrup out of the Rasgullas thoroughly and soak them in the chilled coffee for at least 10 minutes.

Step 2

Whisk the mascarpone, heavy cream, and powdered sugar together in a separate bowl until the mixture reaches stiff peaks.

Step 3

Layer the coffee-soaked Rasgullas at the bottom of a glass and top with a generous layer of the whipped cream mixture.

Step 4

Repeat the layers if desired, finish with a heavy dusting of cocoa powder, and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
