Moonglet: Protein-Rich Easy Breakfast Recipe

Moonglet, made from moong dal, is a quick protein-rich breakfast option that can help fitness enthusiasts stay on top of their game. It is fulfilling, keeps hunger at bay until lunch, and can be packed in the tiffin. Note the recipe.

Ingredients

¼ tsp turmeric 1 cup moong dal ¾ tsp salt, red chilli 2 tbsp rice flour ½ tsp ginger paste, cumin ½ tsp eno 2 tbsp tomato, onion 2 tbsp capsicum, water 1 chilli 1 tbsp butter, coriander 2 tsp oil

Step 1

Blend soaked moong dal, rice, flour, turmeric, and salt to get a smooth paste.

Step 2

Add all the chopped vegetables and powdered spices to the paste.

Step 3

Add ginger paste, Eno, and some water to adjust the consistency.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan and pour the batter in it. Let it cook.

Step 5

When the base is cooked, slowly turn over the moonglet.

Step 6

Garnish it with butter and coriander leaves.
