Moong dal papad is a traditional Indian snack, which is light, crunchy and mildly spiced to bring out the perfect flavours to the taste buds. It is one of the best accompaniments to Indian meals.
1 cup moong dal flour 1 tsp black pepper powder 1/4 tsp asafoetida 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tbsp oil 4-5 tbsp water
Mix moong dal dough with spices, oil and add water gradually to form a dough.
Divide the dough and roll each portion into a thin, round disk using a rolling pin.
Sun dry the rolled discs until they turn dry and crisp.
Roast the papad on an open flame or fry it until it turns golden and crisp.
