Moong dal chilla is an amazing way to kickstart your mornings on a busy weekday or weekend. It is a protein-rich recipe, especially good for women struggling to manage polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Here is how to make it more interesting.
2 cups soaked moong dal 2 green chillies 1 tsp red chilli powder ½-inch ginger ½ tsp cumin seeds 100 grams grated paneer 2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp coriander leaves ¼ tsp black pepper Salt to taste
Blend moong dal with green chillies, cumin seeds, and ginger.
Keep the consistency of the batter thick.
Add salt, red chilli powder, and a pinch of hing.
On a plate, combine salt, paneer, pepper, red chilli powder, and coriander leaves.
Spread the batter on a hot griddle. Apply butter on the edges.
When the base is cooked, top it with paneer mixture, and enjoy it with tea, coffee, and juice.
