Chilla is an impeccable way of adding protein to your diet. If you’re a vegetarian, you must try making moong dal chilla for a healthy snack or a quick breakfast. Follow these 4 easy steps and serve.
1 cup moong dal 1 cup water 2 teaspoons oil ½ teaspoon ajwain ½ teaspoon red chilli powder ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder ⅓ cup chopped onions ⅓ cup chopped tomatoes 1 green chilli 1 teaspoon grated ginger ½ cup coriander leaves Salt to taste
Take a bowl and mix ground dal, ajwain, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilli, ginger, coriander, and water to make a batter.
Heat a pan, pour a spoonful of batter, and cook both sides.
Serve hot with a bowl of curd and your favourite chutney.
