Mooli Paratha: Make A Cosy Punjabi-Style Breakfast This Morning

Mooli, or radish, is the highlight of the winter season. The best way to add the fibrous vegetable to your meals is by making a mooli paratha. Follow this Punjabi recipe and serve the paratha with dahi.

Ingredients

1 cup atta 1/2 cup mooli 1/4 cup chopped coriander 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon garam masala 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup water Oil for cooking

Step 1

Mix atta, grated mooli, coriander, red chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt.

Step 2

Gradually add water to knead a smooth dough. Let it rest.

Step 3

Take small portions and shape them into balls. Roll the balls into thin discs.

Step 4

Heat a tawa, add some oil and cook the paratha till golden brown on both sides.

Step 5

Serve hot with a bowl of curd and achaar.
