One word that comes to mind to describe Maharashtrian food is, spicy! But Maharashtrian dishes have more flavours than just spice. Try these dishes that bring together taste and nutrition in every bite.
It is a spicy curry made from sprouted matki, topped with farsan, chopped onions, coriander, a slice of lemon, and served with pav.
Upma is a warm and savoury dish made with dry-roasted semolina (rava), tempered with mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chillies, onions, and optionally vegetables, then steamed with water for a light and fluffy breakfast.
