Nothing is more comforting than a bowl filled with traditional Indian desserts. One of the comforting, go-to desserts is kheer, which can be enjoyed guilt-free by making it with millet instead of rice.
1/2 cup millet 2 cups milk Sugar to taste 2 tablespoons ghee A pinch of cardamom powder Chopped dry fruits for garnishing
Heat some ghee and roast millet till golden brown.
In another pan, heat some milk. Let it boil and then simmer for another 5 minutes.
Add the roasted millet and sugar to the milk. Let it cook till the sugar dissolves.
