Millet Dosa: Make Your South Indian Meal Gluten-Free With Jowar

Jowar dosa is a healthier twist on the classic South Indian dosa, usually made with a batter of urad dal and rice. To make your dosa gluten-free, here is a step-by-step recipe for jowar dosa.

Ingredients

1.5 cups jowar flour 4 cups water 1 onion 2 green chillies 2 tablespoons coriander - Curry leaves as per preference Salt to taste Oil for cooking

Step 1

Make a fresh batter with jowar flour and water.

Step 2

Add finely chopped onion, coriander, green chillies, curry leaves, and salt.

Step 3

Mix all the ingredients together and ensure there are no lumps. Let it rest.

Step 4

Heat up a pan, pour some oil and cook a spoonful of dosa batter till it’s crisp.

Step 5

Serve the millet dosa with sambar or chutney.
