Millet cheela is a light, nutritious Indian pancake made with millet flour, curd, and vegetables. It’s a healthy, gluten-free breakfast that’s rich in protein and fibre, perfect for busy mornings or a light evening meal.
1 cup millet flour (bajra or jowar) ½ onion (chopped) 1 green chilli (chopped) ¼ cup curd Salt, cumin, and water as needed Oil for cooking
In a bowl, mix millet flour, curd, onion, chilli, salt, and cumin. Add water to make a smooth batter.
Heat a non-stick tawa and pour a ladleful of batter, spreading it evenly.
Drizzle oil around the edges and cook on medium flame until golden on both sides.
Serve hot with chutney or curd for a wholesome, balanced meal.
