Amongst wide varieties of barfis, besan ki barfi is quite popular in North India. Melts in the mouth, requires minimal ingredients, why don’t you follow these steps to make a rich batch of besan ki barfi?
200 grams besan 100 grams milk 50 grams desi ghee 100 grams sugar Water as required Pinch of elaichi powder
Take a bowl and mix milk and besan. Add ghee and stir till consistent.
Transfer the mixture to a pan and roast on a low flame.
Once grainy, add elaichi powder and mix well.
In another pan, mix sugar with water to make chaashni. Add the sugar syrup to the besan mixture.
Transfer the mixture to a plate and let it cool. Cut into barfi slices and serve.
