Dosa is a South Indian staple that is usually made with urad dal. To give the traditional recipe a twist, you can use masoor dal. Here’s a recipe for protein-rich masoor dal dosa you shouldn’t miss.
1 cup masoor dal 2-3 green chillies 1-inch ginger 1/4 tsp cumin seeds Salt to taste Water as required Ghee for cooking
Grind soaked masoor dal with chillies, ginger, cumin, salt, and water into a smooth batter.
Heat a non-stick pan, pour a ladleful of batter and spread it thinly.
Drizzle some ghee and cook till both sides are golden brown.
Transfer the masoor dal dosa to a plate and serve with chutney or sambar.
