A hearty, flavourful breakfast packed with fibre and spices. Masala oats mixed with the goodness of vegetables, Indian seasonings, and oats for a quick, nutritious meal that keeps you full and energised all morning.
1 cup rolled oats 1 finely chopped onion 1 chopped tomato ½ cup mixed veggies (carrot, peas, beans) 1 tsp cumin seeds ½ tsp turmeric ½ tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp garam masala Salt to taste 2 cups water 1 tsp oil or ghee
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
Sauté onions till golden, then add tomatoes and cook till soft.
Add mixed veggies and spices, sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Pour in water, bring to a boil, and stir in oats.
Cook until thick and creamy, garnish with coriander, and serve hot.
