Named after the legendary beauty Mastani, this isn't just a drink, it’s a full-blown event. Hailing from the streets of Pune, this shake is unapologetically thick, creamy, and layered with textures. It serves as the perfect celebratory treat, capturing the golden essence of summer in a glass that requires both a straw and a spoon.
2 cups thick mango pulp (Alfonso or Kesar) 1/2 cup chilled full-fat milk 2 large scoops vanilla or mango ice cream 1 tbsp slivered nuts (almonds and pistachios) 1 tsp glazed cherries or tutti-frutti
Blend the thick mango pulp and chilled milk together until the consistency is heavy and smooth (avoid over-diluting).
Pour the thick shake into a tall glass, leaving enough room at the top for the toppings.
Place a large, firm scoop of ice cream directly onto the shake so it floats majestically.
Garnish generously with slivered nuts and cherries, and serve immediately for the ultimate indulgence.
