Experience the richness of creamy mango kulfi in every bite. Prepared with fresh mango, milk, and cardamom, this melt-in-mouth dessert is best to cool down while savouring in rich flavours of homemade kulfi.
1½ cups full-fat milk ½ cup condensed milk ¼ cup sugar 1 cup mango pulp (fresh or canned) ¼ tsp cardamom powder 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
In a pan or vessel, boil about 1½ cups of full-fat milk on a low flame until it gets a thick consistency. Keep stirring it frequently while boiling.
Add ½ cup of condensed milk and ¼ cup sugar to the boiling milk and cook until it turns creamy.
Turn off the gas and let this mixture cool at room temperature.
Mix 1 cup mango pulp and ¼ tsp cardamom powder into this mixture and stir until smooth.
Add 2 tablespoons of chopped pistachios to get texture and richness.
Pour this into moulds, and freeze for about 8 hours or overnight, and serve chilled mango kulfi.
